The City of Creve Coeur presented the awards and finalists for this year’s 2018 Business Awards last month at the Danforth Plant Science Center.
EFS Energy’s Director of Sales, Kenny Noel, attended the awards reception along with Saji Jacob, CEO of Vanchi Properties.
The City of Creve Coeur determined that “Vanchi Properties effort to create an energy efficient building by installing a solar power system and a geothermal heating and cooling system exemplified the Green Business Award.”
This commercial solar installation project features over 60 solar panels positioned on the roof, estimated to offset 38,000 pounds of carbon dioxide per year.
Vanchi Properties is the newly constructed medical building at 844 North New Ballas Road, designed to be one of the most energy efficient commercial buildings in Creve Coeur, MO.
It is also the first structure in the area to install a state-of-the-art photovoltaic solar power system and utilize a highly efficient geothermal heating and cooling system.
