Why Can’t I Just Install It Myself (AKA DIY)?

The DIY method is best only if you’re comfortable and familiar with electrical installations and understand what’s necessary to comply with local regulations, including whether your system can be tied to the grid. It’s important to note that you may not apply for rebates in IL or MO unless you are a certified installer. You also want to consider ongoing maintenance, so your system stays efficient for many years.
